Looking south from the capitol dome of the Wisconsin State Capitol, the view is of West Main Street bound by South Hamilton Street and Monona Avenue (now Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard). None of these buildings remain. They have been replaced by city, county, and state office buildings. Lake Monona is in the background.
