Book Proposal Guidelines
The Wisconsin Historical Society Press publishes books of enduring value that appeal to a broad audience of general readers: lively narratives about interesting people and events; fresh and engaging explorations of well-examined topics; and stories that speak to our regional community but also illuminate Wisconsin's role on the national and world stage. Authors who have an understanding of the audiences they are writing for and the niches their projects fill will have the best chance for success.
Book Proposal
Providing WHS Press with complete and detailed information about your project will enhance our ability to evaluate it in a timely and thoughtful manner. You can enter your proposal information in the online form here, or feel free to download the proposal template and submit it by email.
