Back of photograph has stamp that reads: "Marin Marietta, PO Box 5837, Orlando, FLA. 32805" Caption on sheet in folder: "In place above a Sprint Launch cell, the U.S. Army Safeguard's System's Universal Transporter-Loader is ready to lower a missile section to its launch position. The 25-foot environment housing can accommodate either Spring or Spartan missile sections. The housing is raised and lowered hydraulically. Proper thermal and humidity environment is maintained by an air conditioning system mounted on the front of the chassis. Martin Marietta is developing the Spring missile as well as the UTL. |
