A plaque dedicating a tree in memory of Joyce Kilmer is placed on the State Capital grounds at a special ceremony held by the State Disabled American Veterans (DAV). A.J. Menard, Green Bay, holds the plaque. Menard served with the late poet in the "Fighting 69th" Division in World War I. |
