A new category, heirloom recipes, was added to the 1961 cookbook recipe contest sponsored by the Wisconsin State Journal. The first place winner in this new classification of recipes that included favorites of past generations is Mrs. A.F. Ross, Platteville, Wisconsin. The recipe is called "Flycatcher Currant Pastries." |
