Survey of the Neenah or Fox River
Map
This map shows the portage area between the Fox River and Wisconsin River. It details a line of proposed construction for defending the north side of the canal against inundation from the Wisconsin River as well as the location of Fort Winnebago. The bottom right corner reads: "Map made by Capt. Thomas Jefferson Cram, Jan. 1840." The map margins have annotations in ink.
