Postcard
First Wisconsin Aviator

The Curtiss Pusher owned by Arthur Pratt Warner of Beloit, the first man to fly in Wisconsin and the first person to purchase an airplane. Slightly below the flag is the "Aero-meter," Warner's invention for measuring wind speed. The April 3, 1910 postmark on the reverse side of the photographic postcard proves that Warner exhibited his plane at the Los Angeles Air Meet. |
