Kentzler Brothers Livery was located at approximately 109 E. Doty, then known as Clymer Street. It operated from about 1866 to 1894. Andrew R. Kentzler completed his large brick stable, one of the finest in the state in 1866. It was built of Edgerton brick 74 feet x 66 feet. Andrew R. and Milo M. Kentzler ran their business together for a good many years. On man a summer Sunday afternoon, the Kentzlers enjoyed a flourishing business in hiring carriages to fashionable ladies for quiet afternoon drives. |
