Wisconsin State Journal Receives American Cancer Society's Crusade Citation
| The Wisconsin State Journal received the American Cancer Society's Crusade Citation "for helping to strengthen the 1964 fight against cancer." Richard C. Wilson, right, presented the citation to Lawrence H. Fitzpatrick, managing editor of the Wisconsin State Journal, for the "continuing educational program carried in the newspaper to enable people to recognize the danger signals of cancer and obtain early treatment." Wilson is a member of the board of the Dane County unit of the Wisconsin Division of the American Cancer Society. |
