New Bells for Holy Name Seminary
Bishop William P. O'Connor of the Madison Catholic Diocese consecrates four new bells before they are raised in position at the new Holy Name Seminary building located at 702 S. High Point Road in Madison. The bells, cast in France, range in weight from 320 to 1,440 pounds. The bells are named Spirit of Prayer, Humility, Obedience, and Sacrifice in accordance with Church custom. The bells were donated to the diocese by the architectural firm of Krueger, Kraft, and Associates. |
