Isaac Stephenson and George Peck's Fishing Trip

A group of men sit in chairs close together around the entrance of an open tent. In the background are trees and more tents. The men are wearing shirts, boots, vests and brimmed hats (one man wears a tie). George Peck sits facing towards the camera (third in from the right, in between two men with their backs to the camera). |

The year is difficult to place as Senator Isaac Stephenson traveled down the Escabana River in Michigan annually. There is a record of George Peck accompanying the Senator on at least one of his trips in 1912, but there is no indication that this was the only trip Peck made with Stephenson. A note on the back of the photograph identifies two of the other men. Second from the left is Horace Upham, and behind him is Clarence B. Raymond. |
