Beloit Students March to Capitol in Support of Civil Rights
Gov. Warren Knowles, right, is shown addressing the 175 Beloit College students who undertook a two-day march to the capitol from their campus 50 miles away, to express their support for civil rights. The crowd was increased by a number of University of Wisconsin and Edgewood College students who joined them at the capitol. |
