The Dionne Quintuplets in Superior

The five Dionne quintuplet girls, their sister and parents standing at the end of the observation car occupied by the Dionne party. They were in Superior to launch five cargo ships built by Walter Butler Shipbuilders, Inc., for the U.S. Maritime Commission. In the background on the right, a section of the hull of an escort can be seen, one of twelve being constructed in the Butler Shipyard. The quints are talking to shipyard workers. |
