New Kite Design

Pat Kohl is holding a new kite being manufactured by Madison Opportunity Center, a rehabilitation workshop for the mentally and physically handicapped. It has an 18-inch wing inserted through a red cardboard disc. It makes a fluttering noise and soars, maneuvers, and dog fights. The design was the idea of Leon H. Sweet who formed the "Fite Kite" company with four other men. |
