Family Orchestra

Descendants of Conrad Seipp comprise an orchestra which performed a concert as part of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the construction of the main house at Black Point. Emma Seipp Schmidt sits at the piano in the music room of the house. In the background, Alma Seipp Hay holds her violin. Alma Schmidt Petersen stands to the left of her Aunt Alma Hay. Alma Petersen's sons, Conrad, seated in back row at extreme left, Edward, standing with toy horn, and William, second row, far right, were in the orchestra. |

Emma Schmidt and Alma Hay were daughters of Chicago brewer Conrad Seipp, the founder of Black Point. William Otto Petersen donated Black Point to the State of Wisconsin in 2005. |
