Portrait of Dickey Chapelle by Colleague
Outdoor portrait of Dickey Chapelle. "When I had earned my Vietnamese paratrooper wings (left pocket in picture), I was also given a special jump pack designed to hold my cameras. I jumped it here — about 20 minutes plane ride south of Saigon in the Mekong Delta — and then lent one of the cameras I'd just jumped to a colleague to make this picture." |
