Sketch of Ozaukee's Face: Walter Bubbert's Interest Map of Ozaukee County; Interest Map of Estabrook Park
This pictorial map shows points of general and historical interest in Ozaukee County. Original caption reads: "Ozaukee county is the "biggest little county: in Wisconsin. It's the first county north of Milwaukee and a playground area within easy reach of the metropolis. The Hollanders, Germans, and Luxemburgers have made fertile soil out of a red clay. The rolling hills, the sand dunes, the bluffs of Lake Michigan with the clean sandy beaches, and the valley of the Milwaukee river have made this a garden spot." Lake Michigan is seen on the far right side of the map. The back of the map features a inserted pictorial map of Estabrook Park. |
