Sales Girls Distribute War Bonds at World War II Scrap Drive

Sales girls (L to R): Patsie Anderson, Margaret Hatche, and Leone Owens distribute war bonds and stamps to farmers and other townspeople during a W.W. II scrap drive. The drive was held during "MacArthur Week." 182 farmers participated in the drive that brought in over 105 tons of scrap metal to this town of less than 500. |
