Upper Fox River Historic Marker
Mrs. Steve McNamara (left), granddaughter of Nathan Strong, the founder of the city of Berlin, then named Strong's Landing, spoke at the dedication ceremony of the Upper Fox River historical marker in Riverside Park in Berlin, about her Strong family history. Berlin Park Board members, Mrs. Edwin Winkoski (right of marker) and Mrs. Karl Baehr (middle) were present along with the Chairman of the Berlin Park Board, L.A. Blackbourn (far right), master of ceremonies, to dedicate the historical marker. |
