Delavan's Circus Colony Historic Marker

Gordon Yadon, a member of the Mabie Brothers circus tent, and Mary Lou Lawrence, aerialist and trapeze artist, reading the historical marker documenting Delavan's Circus Colony. Mary Lou Lawrence was the Circus Queen of the Delavan Circus Celebration in 1963, during which the historical marker was unveiled to the public, just 5 months after she fell 35 feet mid-act onto the concrete floor. |
