Serepta, on the left has her right arm crossed over her left on her lap. She is holding a small bag with chain handle; her hair is in long sausage curls, and a fabric scarf is pinned at her neck with the tails reaching below her knees. Sherman's left knee is crossed over his right, with his hands resting in his lap; he is wearing a three-piece suit and dark tie. |
