This detailed map of the American colonies shows cities, villages, roads, mountains, lakes, rivers, swamps, counties, state boundaries, and Native American territories. The boundaries between the states and territories are hand-colored, and the map includes a table: "References to the Names of the Counties not Inserted in this Map." The land of the Iroquois confederacy is prominently labeled "Country of the Six Nations" as well as each individual nation's territory. |
