"Creature Abstract" Sculpture
Sun-lit sculpture, identified as "Creature Abstract," in Sid's backyard. Painted entirely white, the sculpture uses bold negative spaces with curvilinear shapes to define an abstract human figure: a small head with ocular and a nasal or mouth cutout sits on an upper torso, defined by shoulders and open arm or breast. The body stands on a two-tiered base, and in its entirety measures 47" x 31" x 20". Other sculptures pictured are "Sphinx," a white "Multi-tiered Pagoda," and a pillar. |
