Map or Atlas
An Accurate Map of New Hampshire in New England, from a Late Survey

Map of New Hampshire and surrounding regions. It shows borders, regions, cities, numerous forts, the country of the Iroquois, mountains, rivers, and lakes. A handwritten note at the top of the map reads "about 1755" though the map actually dates much later towards the end of the American Revolution. Faint offsetting is apparent, a common printers mistake when two sheets were placed on top of each other before the ink fully dried. The title cartouche features a decorative frame border. |
