A New Map of the Province of Maryland in North America
| Map of Maryland and a portion of the surrounding provinces. It shows the boundary lines and borders, counties, cities, towns, roads, mountains, bays, and rivers. A few annotations dot the map, particularly naming the roads such as one reading "Indian Road to Virginia." The map claims much of north-eastern Virginia for Maryland, and Delaware is labeled as "part of the Jerseys." The title cartouche sits in the lower right corner, framed by a tree and plant covered mound. |
