Menasha, Wis.

Map

Menasha's first white settlers arrived in 1835. Using water power provided by the Fox River, the city became a major producer of all kinds of wood products, as shown by the number of wood-related businesses among the references on this bird's-eye view map. The map is also keyed to shows locations of the school house, engine houses, C.&N. W. Railway, Doty Island, and churches. There is an inset illustration of the National House (R.M. Scott and C. May, proprietors).
