Album Page with Pussy Willows
Two photographs featuring Louise Mears (Mrs. Frank B.) Fargo holding her son Stuart are mounted on an album page decorated with hand-painted pussy willow twigs. In the upper photograph, Louise is wearing a summer dress and there are leaves on the trees. There are two buildings in the background. In the lower photograph, Louise is seated, with Stuart on her lap, on a low pillar at the foot of the stairs leading to the front porch of the Fargo home. Her daughter Dorothy is sitting on the steps beside an unidentified woman. A second unidentified woman is standing to the left of Louise. The women and Dorothy are wearing winter coats and hats; Stuart is bundled against the cold. |
