Drawing
Gisholt Closed by G&L
Political flyer by Sid that reads: "Dedicated to high salaried no dividend corporations." Below is an illustration of a pig wearing a suit and tie, holding a cigar in one hand and a sign in the other which reads: "Gisholt Closed by G&L." There is a can of "White Wash" in the center. Another board reads: "A merger is like a marriage, some body gets screwed." Text at bottom reads: "1000 employees lose jobs. Huge tax write off." G&L refers to Giddings and Lewis, which became the parent company of Gisholt Machine Company in 1971. |
