Stuart Fargo
Hand-painted iris flowers decorate an album page featuring four photographs of Stuart Fargo. In the top two photographs, Stuart is "nearly 5." At left, he is posing outdoors in a white dress with a ribbon in his long hair. At top right, he is wearing a striped dress with dark stockings standing in front of a patterned folding screen. He is holding the rope of a horse pull toy. The lower photographs appear to have been taken the same day. On the left, Stuart, age three, and his older sister Dorothy, age seven, are each sitting on a tricycle with large rear wheels. The backdrop is the brick wall of the front porch of the Fargo house. On the right, Stuart is standing alone in front of the wall. |
