Several men relaxing on the grass at the edge of a lake. There are boats pulled up on the shore near them. The man standing on the far right with his hand on his hip is Alex Baas. Karl Fauerbach wrote this on the photograph in blue ink: "This boat was from the Stephen Baas boat livery at the foot of South Blair St. Steve Baas was is [sic] father of Alexius Baas, Capitol Times columnist, + music teacher." |
