Official Highway Map of Wisconsin

This colored road map shows automobile roads in Wisconsin as well as portions of nearby states.Information on the quality and type of any road shown (bituminous concrete, gravel, earth, etc.) can be found in the legend near the bottom left corner, above a directory of State Highway Commission Division Offices. Ferry lanes through Lake Superior and Lake Michigan are shown. On the back side, a collage of scenic photographs of Wisconsin (some in black-and-white, some in color) honoring the state's centennial anniversary covers most of the page. An index of incorporated villages and cities in Wisconsin is included in the top right corner, and a short statement by then-Governor of Wisconsin Oscar Rennebohm inviting tourists to visit Wisconsin is shown in the bottom left. |
