Map or Atlas
Map of Wisconsin
This colored road map shows automobile roads in Wisconsin as well as portions of nearby states. The map is organized such that a single map of Wisconsin is divided on to two sides of a page, with the northern half on the front side and the southern half on the back. Along the left edge of the front page, an index of towns and cities in Wisconsin and Illinois and their populations can be found, next to an enlarged map of Duluth-Superior. Information on the quality and type of any road shown (paved, gravel, dirt, etc.) is available in the legend near the bottom left corner of the back page, below an enlarged road map of Milwaukee and the surrounding area. On the front side, ferry routes through Lake Superior are shown, as are ferry routes through Lake Michigan on the back. Points of interest, fish hatcheries, airports, State Parks, and county lines are located and identified. |
