Presidential Political Campaign Buttons

Framed assortment of political campaign buttons for George H.W. Bush and running mate Dan Quayle, and Mike Dukakis and running mate Lloyd Bentsen. One of the buttons features the popular Democratic slogan: "Where was George?" used to highlight Bush's inexperience and his believed involvement in the Iran-contra scandal under the Reagan administration. Another button reads: "Dukakis will do the job of three men" but shows the portraits of the three stooges. |
