Brule River White Pine

Two men posing at the trunk of what was for several years the largest recorded white pine in Wisconsin. At the time of this photograph, the tree was thought to be about 300 years old and had a trunk circumference of 17 feet 11 inches. The tree died in the late twentieth century. |
