The Last of the Great Lumber Rafts
A woman and a man are standing on a hill overlooking a large lumber raft (allegedly the last of its kind) traveling down the Mississippi River. There is a tow boat behind the raft and a bow boat in front of it, which is used for steering the raft. The boats and raft are passing a pontoon bridge, which is opposite Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. |
