Presidental Political Campaign Ephemera
Slightly elevated view of Ronald Reagan standing outdoors among a crowd of young people and shaking hands. Someone in the crowd is holding a large sign that has a caricature of an elephant, wearing a stars and stripes hat and jacket, eating a peanut with the face of Jimmy Carter on it, that reads: "Elephants Eat Peanuts." On the back is pre-printed text that reads, in part: "Dear _______, I want to let you know that I am one of the many thousands of young people who are working hard to elect Ronald Reagan President of the United States." |
