Mariner Tower, built in 1930 at 606 West Wisconsin Avenue, standing to the left of the 1927 Schroeder Hotel in this elevated view looking east over lower buildings and large trees. The clocktower of Union Train Station is on the right. Lighted signage on the Mariner Tower reads: "Save at The Boston Store" and "It's Time for Graf's, The Best What Gives[sic]" and also "Drink Hydrox Cola." There is a billboard in the foreground advertising Calvert whiskey. |
