Grotto in Dickeyville

A small shrine made out of stone, mortar, colorful rocks and found objects. The modern door is made of glass and metal. A large stone cross is at the top of the shrine. A flagpole made in the same style as the building has an American flag, and the word "Patriotism" is set in mosaic just below. A young woman next to the entrance is sitting and reading a book behind a sign advertising the shrine, gift shop, and suggested entrance fee to the Grotto. |
