It was created of some sort of fabric over a framework of wire. One man standing on the left and wearing a sweater, smoking a cigar, is holding the tip of the tail and a sign that reads: "WHAT IS IT?" The other man to the right wearing a suit and military hat is in front of the neck, holding a two handled cup (a trophy) in one hand and a furled umbrella in the other. They are standing In the foreground is a wood plank sidewalk and a lawn. In the Armory, guns are visible on a rack just inside the door. To the left is a wooden chair and a Pierce bicycle; on the right a ladder.
