Criticism
Poster with two cartoon panels. In the one on the left, an oversized man is getting ready to swing a sledgehammer, which is labeled "Misunderstanding," getting ready to destroy a town. A wrecked factory is labeled "Town Industries." A cartoon blackbird is commenting: "This won't make prosperity." In the panel on the right, a man wearing an apron labeled "Knowledge" is building a wall using bricks that are labeled Art, Science, Trade, Public Utilities, and American Industries. The blackbird is commenting, "Help build up." Poster text reads: "CRITICISM is often due to misunderstanding. Get acquainted with your town's industries. Help Build Up — Not Destroy!" |
