Kraft Phenix Plant
Vines are growing on the side of the brick Kraft Phenix cheese factory building at the corner of Ninth Avenue and Edison Street. Raised letters on the frieze above the front door read: "Antigo Brewing." There are milk cans near the front door, and a pickup truck is parked on the far right. A street light is hanging over the intersection. The Kraft Phenix plant, established by William Kraft in 1924, was the second Kraft cheese manufacturing plant. |
