The description on the negative envelope reads: "David Sample, guide at Brule, Wisconsin, taking a tourist down the fast moving waters of the Brule River." Sample, standing, is standing and holding a pole at the rear of the canoe, guiding it through a rapids close to the opposite shoreline, while a woman is sitting on gear in the middle of the canoe. |
