Boys Make Big Splash
Children frolicking in rain water which collected in the Milwaukee Railroad underpass on North Park Street during Tuesday afternoon's heavy downpour. There is a railroad car on the bridge. Police re-routed traffic after about ten cars stalled while attempting to drive through the water which rose to about two feet. Three of the children were content to stand on the sidelines under the protection of an umbrella, but three boys got in the pool. A sign on the bridge reads: "Low Bridge, Clearance 10 FT." |
