Electric Shaver Service, Schwartz Jewelers and H. Halperin Building

View across State Street towards two buildings. On the far left is the back of a large billboard next to the side of the brick building which has two businesses on the ground floor, Electric Shaver Service and Schwartz Jewelers. Schwartz Jewelers has a large electric or neon sign, including the shape of a diamond, above the door. Potted plants are inside the window on the second floor. The building on the right is the H. Halperin Building, with two businesses on the ground floor. On the right is The Consignment Shop. The awning above the store reads "Undertaking" which was the name of the health food store that had been in business at that location the year before. The business on the right is The Medium, with faded lettering on the awning which reads: "The Black Market." The proprietor of The Medium specializes in tarot, palmistry, and horoscopes. |
