In the foreground are counters on both sides displaying merchandise. On the right is Elsie Franklin, the wife of the owner, and two of their daughters standing at the counter. The woman on the far left is another daughter. Their names are Belle, Nola and Joyce. In the middle, a dog is lying on the floor near a sign advertising Carver ice cream. In the background is a seating area with tables, filled with customers, and a woodstove. |
