George Brumder, Sons and Friends
An outdoor group portrait of George Brumder, sitting in a bent willow chair at far left; Dr. Herman Duemling, sitting in the center, and Julius Andrae, sitting on the far right. Duemling worked with Brumder as an editor at Germania Publishing and was also active in Grace Lutheran Church. Andrae, described on the back of the photograph as a "lifelong friend of Geo. Brumder," was the founder of a telephone and electrical equipment manufacturing company. Standing behind the men are three sons of George Brumder, from left: Herman Otto, Alfred Julius, and George Frederick Brumder. |
