A young child is rolling dough with a rolling pin. She is wearing a paper hat that reads "Lubavitch House Matzoh Bakery." An adult. partially out of frame, is next to her on the right. Caption reads: "With Passover beginning on April 19, the Lubavitch House, 3109 N. Lake Dr., opened its bakery for groups to come and make their own traditional shmurah (watched) matzohs. According to a Lubavitch House spokeswoman, water must not contact the grain and flour used in shmurah matzohs from the time of harvest through the milling, sifting and packaging, or else the matzohs would not be kosher. Aviva Abergel, 3, of Milwaukee, learned how to roll out the unleavened dough to make matzoh." |
