Wisconsin State Treasurer Dena Smith

Dena A. Smith was sworn in as State Treasurer on December 4th for the 13-month unexpired term of her husband, Warren R. Smith, who died on December 3rd. Dena Smith served as her husband's secretary during his 4 1\2 terms as State Treasurer. She served him at the Capitol from a connecting office, as well as all his speaking engagements and throughout his campaigns every two years. She is seen sitting at her new desk in the Capitol. |
