The Class A, shovel-nosed sailboat, the <i>Aderyn</i> sailing on Lac La Belle. A handwritten caption on the reverse of the photograph identifies Herman Otto Brumder, skipper; his brother George F. Brumder, sheet; Adolph Rietbrock, prone on starboar deck; and Bob Manegold, at mast. The <i>Aderyn</i> was built by Jones and LaBorde boatbuilders in Oshkosh, and owned by George Brumder, Milwaukee publisher and businessman whose summer home was on Pine Lake. The <i>Aderyn</i> won the Inland Lake Yachting Association Regatta on Pewaukee Lake in August 1902.
