Red Cross Gray Ladies Volunteer at the Wisconsin Diagnostic Center
Red Cross Gray Lady Mrs. Robert A. Judd (1115 Edgehill Drive) playing ping-pong with two teenage boy patients at the Wisconsin Diagnostic Center at 1552 University Avenue. Mrs. Judd volunteers many hours of her time to being a friend to the children at the center. The center was under the supervision of the Mental Hygiene Division of the State Department of Public Welfare and connected with the University of Wisconsin Medical School as a training ground for medical students and future psychiatrists. |
